Lives Change At Grace...Why?
Because Grace is a place where people who are far from God can come sit, seek, learn, investigate, and engage with the Almighty. He meets them here and gives them purpose, passion, and peace.
Why build? Why NOW? Because we are out of room, Grace is using its existing facility to its full capacity. We must grow. We must grow more. We must grow more now.
This project is a Kingdom calling. This project is beyond us and this world. This project is important. Take the time to consider your place on this path.
We are well underway as we move aggressively forward to carry out God’s plan for Grace church. The building team is meeting regularly with architects in schematic design, plan development and facility planning. Pray for the NOW team as they seek God’s will in the details.
Funding? We are on task and making great strides in raising capital to see this Project through. We currently have over $7.8 million committed, which is AMAZING! We know God’s not through yet, because we still need more, but we are stepping out trusting that He will make a way!
The main part of the parking lot construction is completed. The upper parking lot will be paved soon after the building is completed as some of that area will be needed for staging of equipment during the construction phase. Due to delays in financing and possible weather restrictions, plans now are to break ground in the Spring of 09. Site and Building permits should be issued by mid October, o8. We continue to trust God for His provision as the details and timing of the project work out. He is faithful!
