The Project
In our introduction to the NOW Project, we asked all Grace people to engage with God, listen to Him and do what He asks. As the Grace Body followed those steps, God allowed us together to commit over $7.9M to the NOW Project. Praise Him for His provision!
Where does that leave us?
First of all, on our knees, which is a great place to be. The leadership of Grace Church is blown away by how our Body showed up in such a sacrificial way. They know that, only by God’s grace and blessing are we able to raise such a significant amount of capital.
Secondly, we are on our knees in prayer for faithfulness of the family, praying that Gracers would fulfil, even exceed their pledges as they give generously back to the One who owns it all anyway. If you made a pledge, remember, no matter how big or how small, it takes all of us, together, to accomplish this goal. Stay the course and seek God as you give what He led you to pledge!
Thirdly, we pray that you will continue to seek God and follow His lead. If he provides so that you can give more, give more! We still have a mountain to move, and a mountain to climb, so to speak, as we continue to build this campus. Remember, the building is the “what” of the Project, but the people are the “why”. We do what we do so that more more people can learn of our great God. Keep your eye on that goal and help as we stretch, reach for, and accomplish His purpose, for His honor and glory alone!
Reaching the $8M target is enough for us to move confidently forward, but does not cover the entire cost of the project. The entire cost of Phase One, including building, sitework, adaptive redesign of our current facility and furnishings is approaching $11M. The more capital we raise, the less debt we incur, freeing up money, time and room for ministry! Give until God says stop! There is no greater act than sacrificing the temporal for the eternal, nothing better than giving away worldly possession for eternal wealth—all to change lives forever for His Kingdom!
Be strong and courageous and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the LORD God, my God, is with you…” 1 Chronicles 28:20
